Arts & Craftythings

Hi everybody!
I hope you are doing well this holiday season. Have you got all of your holiday shopping out of the way? If not there are two events going on next week that could help you close that gift giving gap. I have made shadow boxes, pillows, ornaments and more. And if you don't find something at my table there are tons of other talented artist at these events, you're bound to find something perfect! I hope to see you there:)

note: the Rudyard Kipling event spans over three days,
I will be there on Friday, the 17th( I wish I could be
there for all of them). If you miss me there, I will be
at Nelligan Hall on Saturday for that event.

Broken Hearted

This past summer I worked on a commercial with Jamie Caliri and a talented
group of people. Well I'm excited to report that it was nominated
for an ASIFA award!

Inspirato: Jiri Trnka

Jiri Trnka was a Czech puppet maker, illustrator, motion-picture animator and film director, renowned for his stop motion puppet animations.

He graduated from the Prague School of Arts and Crafts. He created a puppet theater in 1936. This group was dissolved when World War II began, and he instead designed stage sets and illustrated books for children throughout the war.

Making Crafts for the Holidays

So it's that time of year again. Holiday Season. Several projects on the horizon.

I'm currently gearing up for two local craft fairs:
Holiday Craft Fair at the Rudyard Kipling: December 17th
A Very Portland Christmas December 18th
